    Revo Uninstaller

    free version doesn't list 64bit applications, hence totally helpless to remove them, while native windows uninstaller will do that.

    only paid version revo uninstaller pro does and also another paid program called your uninstaller.

    When you uninstall a program through "Programs and Features" and afterwards, launch Revo, that program is not listed in Revo...

    Does the Pro version of Revo list programs that have been removed through "Programs and Features" ?

    Revo Uninstaller List Differs from Win10 Progs and Features List

    I'm running Win10 Pro 64bit and Revo Uninstaller Pro v3.1.5. There is a huge discrepancy in the installed programs lists provided by Revo Uninstaller and the Win10 Programs and Features control panel. They both say there are 83 installs (that's good). But Revo Uninstaller claims that 15 programs were installed a few days ago on 2/29/2016. The correct number is 3 which is what Win10 says. Today I uninstalled Revo Uninstaller (using Revo Uninstaller to do it) and then reinstalled it. No help.

    I guess it might be OK to ignore this discrepancy but I find it surprising.

    Suggestions?

  5. Revo Uninstaller is designed to uninstall programs and apps. Optional features are considered system components and need to be added and removed using the built-in Windows functionality.

    The modern Freeware version 2.x of Revo Uninstaller does have full 64-bit support, an thus can uninstall 64-bit programs on a 64-bit system.
    It was the older Freeware version 1.x that lacked 64-bit support, however, that version was discontinued a long time ago in favor of 2.x.

    Apps and Features in Windows 10 lists both programs and apps. Revo Uninstaller Pro 3 does not support removal of apps, only programs.

    Please try rebuilding Revo Uninstaller Pro's cache file: open Revo Uninstaller Pro, and click File -> Rebuild cache file -> Yes.
    This will re-read the uninstallation information from the Windows Registry and will re-create the list of installed programs.

    If this doesn't help, please try the following:
    - start Revo Uninstaller Pro;
    - click Tools -> Options;
    - on the left side click All Programs;
    - check the option "Use program's install data to get the Install Date property";
    - click OK;
    - restart Revo Uninstaller Pro;
    - rebuild the cache file again, as described in the paragraph above.

    By default, Revo Uninstaller uses an alternative method to read the installation dates, and sometimes certain changes to the system can cause issues with this method.
