Move System Reserved Partition to Allow GPT Formatting

I built my own computer with a 500GB SSD and 4TB HDD. Unfortunately I made the mistake of having both drives connected when installing Windows 10 for the first time, and now there's a System Reserved partition on my HDD. The problem with that is that it's only recognizing 2TB of the 4TB drive. I can assign a drive letter to only half the space, the other half is not accessible. In order to fix that, I need to format the drive as GPT, but that option is greyed out since there's a System Reserved Partition on the drive.

How do I move the System Reserved Partition to the SSD in order to format my HDD as GPT and access all 4TB? I don't need to keep any files on either drive, so I'm happy to completely wipe the computer if necessary (possible?).

    Thanks.

    :)

GPT Reserved Partition showing as Local Disk

    Hi

I have a two laptops with Windows 10 x64. Recently I noticed new partition with next available letter. Size is 128mb and it can't be accessed. I checked in Disk Management but this partition is not listed there as per the below screen:

I used MiniTool Partition Wizard and managed to see details about this partition.

I tried Diskpart to remove Drive Letter but no luck:

This happened at the same time on my two HP laptops but not sure what could cause it. Maybe some Windows update? I do not remember installing any new apps. I would like to remove this disk from the list of available disks.

Can anyone suggest/advise how I can remove this from the list?

    Thanks

Problem with the "Reserved Partition"; Error: "We can't upgrade the system reserved partition."

If it’s a GPT disk, it doesn't have a system reserved partition but efi partition. On MBR disk, Windows 10 requires a 500MB system reserved partition, while 100MB in Windows 7, so you can try to extend system reserved partition.

In disk management, you can only extend partition using the unallocated space next to its right side. so even if you shrink D: drive, the option to extend the efi partition is still grayed out. My suggestion is to use a third party software, AOMEI Partition Assistant, both the standard (free) or the Professional(paid) version can extend partition as long as there is unallocated space on that hard drive. to see more information read:

I think you should backup all important Windows data or system before solved the system reserved partition space problem. You can only shrink volume or add a mirror to the system reserved partition. No access can be done to extend it. Try to use MiniTool partition wizard to shrink and leave free space for adding to system reserved partition.

The question seems to have been seen somewhere. I suggest that you'd better back up your important data as well as the system partition before starting the process. In this situation, you can still take advantage of using MiniTool partition wizard to resize or extend system reserved partition, and keep the the system reserved partition becomes bigger than before.
