    FAN runs at 100%, please fix


    Hello
    month ago i updated my laptop, and since than the fans wont stop...
    MICROSOFT please fix this problem, i want to have my laptop back not this vacuum cleaner ... its too noisy, i cant work, and i dont want to suffer damage to my laptop
    in task manager cpu usage is below 5% - in idle state fun is boosted
    i tried shutting all background apss, no location services but nothing is helping
    i even did a clean instal, but the problem is here
    with previous builds/updates i did not have this problem

    specs :
    ASUS ROG STRIX II GL504GM
    i7-8750H
    Windows 10 pro
    Version 1809
    os Build 17763.253

    CPU Fan runs constantly

    Hi,

    We would like to know the following information to assist you better regarding CPU fan issue.

    • Does the fan runs constantly fast or do you hear any noise?
    • Have you tried updating all the drivers of your computer?
    • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps before posting this concern? If yes, what are those?
    • What is the memory/disk usage in task manager?

      You may check this by typing Task Manager in the search box
      and hit Enter. Check which application
      is taking more memory or disk usage.

    Fan control for 4870X2 broken in 1.17

    Fixed fan controls yes. Annoying profiles yes. Buggy code yes.

    I'd rather just set it and forget it as the feature list of RBE suggested it was capable of doing.
