Windows 10: missing game

So I was gifted a code for minecraft windows 10 but for some reason the game is not in my account anywhere. I was able to download it. is there a way to find out what the problem is? I tried re enter it but it says "This code has already been redeemed." Help please

Thanks for replying spunk. That's the 'alphabetical' list I was referring to, none of these apps are in that 'All apps' list. Any more suggestions?

 

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
