  1. Recent update caused bluetooth to disappear

    Hey!

I recently updated my PC to the most recent Windows 10 version, I was tight on space but recently upgraded my hard drive for more room so I hadn't updated since October. Anyways, I have a Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I REV as my wireless card. It also has bluetooth which has worked fine until this update. I have done the troubleshooting and Device Manager and it's not even detected anymore. I have gone to the Gigabyte site and downloaded the drivers from there, I have downloaded the drivers from Intel as well to no avail. My wifi is still working and picking up both 2.4 and 5Ghz signals so I'm at a bit of a loss. My only use for bluetooth is connecting an Xbox One controller for gaming so it's not too major but it is a disappointment. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    Bluetooth disappeared

    Hi,

This error may be caused by a corrupted Bluetooth driver in your device. To help you fix this, go to Device Manager
to ensure that you have the latest Bluetooth driver installed on your PC.

    • Type Device Manager in the search box on the taskbar. Click it from the list of results, and then expand
      Bluetooth.
    • Right-click the Bluetooth radio, then select Properties.
Select Driver tab then click on Update Driver.
In case that Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can check the manufacturer's website and follow the instructions there.

After updating your drivers, you will need to pair again your Bluetooth headphones on your PC.
