Windows 10: Get your motherboard's sound driver updates to fix audio issues caused by today's Windows...

After today's Windows 10 update, my audio was completely gone. I have an ASUS motherboard. Luckily, downloading and installing the audio driver update from the ASUS site, the audio is back.


Been with Windows since Version 2 and never seen this before.

As per your query, I like to inform you that; uninstall a driver, might lead to device/features not work properly.

I suggest you to try running audio troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

  Type Troubleshooting in the Search area on the taskbar and select
  Troubleshooting.

  Select Hardware and Sound.
  
• 
  Select Playing Audio under
  Sound and follow the on screen.

Audio breaks down after updating the audio drivers on Windows 10
