Windows 10: File Permissions for all files

Discus and support File Permissions for all files in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I'm running windows 10. I am tired of a) files that I know are on my computer not showing up in searches and b) being denied permission to access...     File Permissions for all files


    I'm running windows 10. I am tired of


    a) files that I know are on my computer not showing up in searches and

    b) being denied permission to access or change the contents of files.


    What is the quickest way to give me (and the search function in Windows 10) access to every file on the computer?


    I am the only person who uses the computer. I live alone. The few files where security is a priority are encrypted.


    I just want to be able to find and access all the files and folders on my computer without being told "You do not have access to this file" or "No search results."

    cannot access file/or permissions

    I have a file i need to run on Windows 7 Home Premium. I get the error message saying "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

    So I right click and choose Properties to access the permissions but I cannot. In the Security tab I get a message saying, " You do not have permission to view or edit this objects permission settings.".

    Next I boot into the Windows 7 Hidden Administrator Mode - and even with this I get all the same error messages.

    Please help me as I really need to run This file.
