Windows 10: Apps getting minimized while working on second monitor

I have a two monitor set up. When I'm watching videos full screen on the Netflix app and Movies and Video player and I click on something on my other screen, apps automatically minimize my video and pause it. Is there some setting in windows where I can turn this off?

On Windows 10, minimizing app on second monitor, then restoring restores it to the first monitor.

Just upgraded from Win7 to Win10. On Win7, apps would remember what monitor they were on when minimized to the taskbar, and would restore to that same position on that same monitor. On Win10, it seems all apps restore to the primary monitor after being minimized.
Also not clear what the purpose of the taskbar on the second monitor is, since it seems to not do anything.

How can I get windows to remember their position?

I accidentally hit the update button instead of postpone and now my second monitor does not work.

I suggest you to unplug the cable from the monitor and connect to the second monitor, and check if it works.

Also, suggest you to follow the below steps, and check if it helps.
1. Press Windows + X, and select Device manager.
2. Check if the second monitor is listed under Monitor.
