    No Wifi networks found

I've been having this issue for a few weeks now and I'm not sure what the issue is. I have my computer connected via an ethernet cable and use it as a mobile hotspot as I do not receive wireless connections from the router in my room. The pc can receive a wifi connection and it shows me which ones are available to connect to. However, at multiple points during the day the mobile hotspot will remain on, but my devices will suddenly lose all connection and cannot connect to the hotspot even when it remains running. This only happens when it suddenly decides to say 'No Wifi networks found'. It will not allow me to simply turn wifi off or back on, it won't allow me to turn the wifi hotspot off either, it doesn't allow me to open up network settings either. The only way of solving this so far is turning the PC completely off by holding the power button, if I try to turn it off normally by letting it restart through the restart option, it hangs at 'restarting' and doesn't turn off. So I have to force shutdown for it to work. This is not something I want to be doing constantly. I've run 3 different anti-virus programs and found there's no viruses causing the problem. Internet connection on my pc is still fine even when this issue happens, it just causes me to not be able to connect any other device to the PC's hotspot or open network settings etc. Has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone have a fix?

    Running the latest Windows 10.

    :)

Wifi network not appearing after recent Win 10 monthly patch

Someone else on another forum suggested I switch the wifi freq on my Android Nexus 5x. So I switched it from 5ghz to 2.4 and it worked! Problem solved. Now my Nexus hotspot is again appearing in my Win 10 list of available wifi networks. So problem was with Android and not Windows.

WiFi issue in the secured network?

    Greetings hirababulogantha,

The following are troubleshooting steps I use myself whenever I get odd disconnects on any of my mobile devices that always seem to resolve this type of issue.

    To turn Off/On Wifi

    • Go to Settings on the phone
    • Navigate and tap Wifi
    • Flick Wifi off or on.

    Remove a stored(known) network

    • Go to Settings on the phone
    • Navigate and tap Wifi
    • Flick Off Wifi
    • Tap Advanced
    • Tap and hold on the university network then tap Delete.
    • Flick On Wifi
    • Tap the university network to connect to it again.
    Best Regards,
