  2. Videos playback

    Hi OttoRapp,

There are several reasons that we can consider why video playback is not working properly. It could be an outdated audio driver, corrupted browsers and damaged files.

To help you resolve your concern, kindly follow these steps:

Method 1: Clear the browsing history of the affected browsers.

Method 2: Reset the browsers. For Internet Explorer, Kindly follow these steps:

    1. Close all Internet Explorer windows. Select the Tools button, and then select Internet options.
    2. Select the Advanced tab, and then select Reset.
    3. In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, select Reset.
    4. When Internet Explorer finishes applying default settings, select Close, and then select OK. Restart your PC to apply changes.
Note: Save your important files before doing the said steps to avoid data loss. Contact the developer for non-microsoft browsers to make sure that you will see the correct troubleshooting steps.

Method 3: Run the audio troubleshooter. Open Settings> Troubleshoot> Playing Audio> Run the troubleshooter> Restart your computer.

Method 4: Update the audio driver. Follow these:

    • Select the Start button, type Device Manager, and select it from the list of results.
    • Expand one of the categories to find the name of your device, then right-click (or tap and hold) it, and select Update Driver.
    • Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
    • If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try looking for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.

If these steps don't work, try reinstalling the driver: Open Device Manager, right-click (or tap and hold) the name of the device, and select Uninstall. Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.
