Windows 10: How to make Elite accessories work?

Xbox Elite accessories (German Zubehör) demands an update (Update erforderlich) and therefore doesn´t work at all. But all drivers and windows itself is up to date. No hints on what to update are given. MS support checked my PC several times by remote software. They installed and deinstalled all kinds of drivers multiple times and left my PC in a complete mess. They disregarded the fact completely, that the Elite Controller is perfectly working. It is only the accessories app which doesn´t work. Therefore I´m not able to configure buttons and paddles. I´m trying to get help from MS since january 10th. But MS doesn´react.
