  1. windows10 upgrade of the 2019-02-15 created problems

Hi just to let you know that the latest Win 10 updates made on my computer on the 15 of February incapacitated my computer in several ways:

    1. the Canadian French keyboard stopped working: no more superimposition of accent and letter and the accent was written twice

    2. the wifi was disconnected several times a day for no apparent reason.

    3. Adobe PDF reader was giving me error messages

    4. my Logitech mouse was still working but the system was telling me there was a problem with the driver. There was no upgrade of the driver that could help.

I had to return to the restore point before the updates. I am not reinstalling this update!! Could you please fix this?

    :)

    Office 2019

Only supported on Win10. Sorry, 8.1 users, only 4 years old, gotta go.

Microsoft Office 2019 will only work on Windows 10

    Spoiler Office 2019
Last year at Ignite, we announced Office 2019 – the next perpetual version of Office that includes apps (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and Skype for Business) and servers (including Exchange, SharePoint, and Skype for Business). Today we’re pleased to share the following updates:

    • Office 2019 will ship in H2 of 2018. Previews of the new apps and servers will start shipping in the second quarter of 2018.
    • Office 2019 apps will be supported on:
      • Any supported Windows 10 SAC release
      • Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018
      • The next LTSC release of Windows Server
    • The Office 2019 client apps will be released with Click-to-Run installation technology only. We will not provide MSI as a deployment methodology for Office 2019 clients. We will continue to provide MSI for Office Server products.

    02/2019 Updates

I managed to install this update on my 4th attempt. This is what I did but I don’t know if it will work for you.

I ran the Windows Update Troubleshooter in Settings. This returned ‘Potential Windows Update Database Error Detected in Windows 10’.
If you get this error too then the following article should help.

    https://www.****/knowledge/fix-potential-windows-update-database-error-detected-in-windows-10/

I carried out Steps 1 and 3 only, then ran Check for Updates, downloaded and installed KB4487044 and held my breath.
    But it has installed successfully.
