I suggest that you ignore any message about updating drivers and move on. However, if it really bothers you and you want to update a driver, please provide the following information:

1. Your Dell Service Tag (see

2. The name of the driver that "will not update"
3. The complete text of all error messages you get in connection with this driver update issue
4. The version of Windows you have, including whether it is 32-bit or 64-bit (click Start, right-click Computer, select Properties)
