    Computer not detecting file

Hi, I have been having a problem regarding the computer (I have a Windows10 Laptop) detecting that winspool.drv is in the system. I am trying to download Origin, but the error message "winspool.drv not found" pops up every time. I went through the process of renaming the file to make the computer create a copy. It was successful, so winspool.drv is present in System32, but the computer is not detecting it. After I renamed it, I restarted it, and the same error message popped up. I have already scanned my computer for any viruses, and there were no threats. I am not sure where to go from here. I don't have any clue as to why my laptop isn't acknowledging it or if there is any other problem that I am not aware of. Assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

    :)

  2. Windows phone is not detecting

    Hi Vijay,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I suggest you to connect the phone to another computer and check if it gets detected. Also, check if the phone gets detected by connecting with a different USB cable.

I suggest you to run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter by following the steps below:

    • Click on the Start button, and type “Troubleshooting” on the search bar.
    • Click on “hardware and devices”.
    • A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and follow the on-screen prompts for troubleshooting.

Hope the information is helpful. Keep us posted on the status for further assistance.

transfer files between computers on a home network

I don't know why this is so hard to do but I would like to transfer files between a desktop PC running windows 10 pro and a laptop running windows 10 home. I would like to transfer files in both directions. Both computers are on the same home network and are connected wirelessly.

Could some one provide either specific step by step instructions on how to do this (I googled and found a countless list of instructions that don't work)

or a link to a reference.

    Thanks,

I don't know if this is possible but it would be nice to see the computer sending the desired file in the explorer file manager of the computer receiving the desired file and then under the computer see a list
    of shared files and folders.

Again, this seems like such a reasonable way of sharing files and folders. Shouldn't there be a simple way to do this?

I removed the gpu and rebooted but the monitor still can't detect any signal. I made sure the computer was off and unplugged before clearing the cmos.

    I followed these instructions
    How to Reset Your BIOS

When I reached step 10 the monitor didn't find signal from the computer.
