Windows 10, repeatedly losing connection on certain routers.

I've been losing connection repeatedly on a certain router that is Century Link, and as I tried, no other routers I connect to has this problem. Other devices connected to that router doesn't have that problem either. It always goes off as, browser saying there's no internet, yet the connection says it's connected. When I ran the troubleshooter, it says that "the default gateway is not available," followed by the troubleshooter resetting the wi-fi adapter. Is there any way I can prevent this from happening? It's been going on for a few months now and I'm really annoyed by it...

    :)

Windows 10 is losing ALL WiFi connections

Thanks for your suggestion. The router is only 9 months old and a Comcast X1router. We have 4 other devices in the house and the Windows 10 laptop is the only one that loses the connection. It just doesn't lose the connection to my router it loses ALL Wi-Fi
    connections.

    Thanks,

    Jim

    wireless conection to router

    Hi,

To better assist you, we would like to know the following information:

    • Are you able to see the router's name in the wireless networks list?
    • Are you able to connect to the router but unable to connect to the Internet?
    • Do you receive any error message when connecting to the router? If yes, what is the exact error message that you receive?

In the meantime, we suggest that you run the Network troubleshooter. The Network troubleshooter can help diagnose and fix common connection problems. Kindly follow the steps below:

    • In the search box on the taskbar, type Network troubleshooter, and then select
Identify and repair network problems from the list of results.
    • Follow the steps in the troubleshooter and see if that fixes the problem.

If the issue persists, kindly try the troubleshooting steps on the following link:

Fix network connection issues in Windows 10
    .

We recommend that you try the steps on the Update the network adapter driver,
Run the Network troubleshooter followed by networking commands,
    Temporarily turn off firewalls
and Use network reset to reinstall network devices sections.

Let us know how it goes for us to assist you further.

Upgrading to Windows 10 from windows 7 and losing internet connection

When trying to search for a driver on that motherboard, it doesn't say Windows 10 on it. My suggestion would be to get a NIC card of some sort that is known to work with the OS (most).
