Windows 10: Using miracast for screen duplicating through lan cable

Hello,


I have a PC with win10 -> router -> smart tv connection. All with Ethernet cables, no wi fi.

I managed to add my smart tv through a devices menu as it is in my connection scheme. Now I can screencast video files to my smart TV via right click -> cast to tv.

But project -> duplicate screen is not working. And I do not realize how to add smart tv like second display.

Can you help me? What do I need to do to duplicate my pc screen to my smart tv using lan cables?

I do not want to buy a miracast wi fi adapter just for this.

Does Miracast support 4K?

We suggest that you check with the manufacturer of the 4k display device that you are using if it is certified to work with Miracast. If your display device is certified to work with Miracast, then check if your PC device supports Miracast. You may do so
by following the steps below:

• Click Start, then go to Settings >
  Projecting to this PC.
• Check if your device supports Miracast.

Good LAN party games?

Most of my suggestions have already been listed.

However, I found Swat4 to actually be a pretty fun LAN game, especially at smaller LAN parties.
