Windows 10: Stuck to BIOS after Windows 10 update - Need to go F1, F8 then API !! ??

Just proceeded to Windows update which took forever (as usual).


However, this time I have a new issue. Wondering if my CPU is overheating...


When I start the machine, it won't take me to Windows directly. Rather, I get the American Megatrends splash (nor so bad) then I'm stucked on a page where I need to do F1, then F8, then press API before Windows actually launch. (see image)


Any idea ?

BIOS update

i have momo GA-945PL-S3P(rev. 6.6) BIOS version (f4)
when i look in gigabyte website i found f5,f6,f7,f8 BIOS versions for my momo.
do i need to update my BIOS version ?
if i have to update, shall i install the last one (f8 ) or install each one ?
is it risky to update my BIOS version because i have no experience in bois update , is there easy step to update my bois?

Still can't reproduce. Could you please post the exact BIOSes that produce the issue?
