And i have ati hd 5770 mac edition graphics card


Does my graphics card is compatible to my motherboard? It will work ?

I have an ATI Radeon HD 5770 and will flash the bios. I also found on the website (tech power up) bios updates. the question is which bios nemen I do? It BIOSes are 12 for the map are listed.

 

Change VESA modes in ATI Radeon HD 5770

Hello,
I own a Hackintosh Mac Pro 1,1, and I'm trying to change the VESA modes of my ATI Radeon HD 5770, following in Windows the steps shown in this interesting article:

but unfortunately my graphic card is not supported by the the Radeon BIOS Editor.
Can someone point out to me if there is an alternate way to reach the same result?

XFX HD 5770 crashing D;

It does say that a minimum 450W PSU is requred in the system requirements. http://www.amd.com/us/products/desk...s/ati-radeon-hd-5770-system-requirements.aspx

It doesn't list how many amps are needed, though if your graphics card is running of of the +12v2 line (14 amps) it is not enough and would explain the problem.
