Windows 10 - BSOD and strange issues after adding ram

    Hi,

Hope someone can "shine" some light on astrange issue i am having here with RAM:

    My Pc Specs are:

Motherboard: MSI Z370M Gaming Pro AC

    CPU: Intel Core i7 8700K

Now i have currently 16GB (2 x 8GB) of G-Skill Ripjaw V DDR4 3200 i decided to add some more memory so i got another set of 16GB of the exact same RAM.

When i install it my PC is starting to behave very weird, games Freeze completely, Pc gets random BSOD. when i remove the 2 new blocks everything works perfect.

My mobo has a feature called XMP, i tired with it on and off. It has a tuning feature called "Gaming, Try it" so i tried with it on and off.

I do see when i check my mobo that it says the ram frequency being 3466. Is that maybe the issue? Should i manually throttle it to 3200 ?

I am kinda...out of options and ideas.

    :)

Strange Windows 10 User Account issue.

Unfortunately I had done those steps numerous reboots, it just, reappears for no good reason. The base account isn't even a Microsoft account, it's a local account.

I haven't quite tried the built in administrator account on W10, but so far in my experience on my own computer, the built in account seemed to have absolutely no more control than I did on my own.

It's just strange, I go in, it warns me twice about deleting the account, then it's gone. Reboot, and it's back?

EDIT: Just to specify, both command line and Netplwiz both say only HIS account exists on the computer, it doesn't list this rogue account. This is what I meant in my first post about the fact that even Windows doesn't seem to believe it exists, HALF the time. *Frown Windows 10 - BSOD and strange issues after adding ram :(

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
