    Why cant i choose my own password? Why does Microsoft force me to now choose a password...


    Is Microsoft as dumb as apple to think people cant decide and make decisions for themselves??


    Sad Microsoft used to let customers choose what they want, but forcing people to have accounts unsecured is sad.. Making people write down 100 different passwords every 6 months for 100 different accounts.. Cant keep track like i used to.. Used to feel security with my account sense my three passwords where only in my head.. No one knew them but me.. Now i dont know any of my password, only saved on my phone.. So anyone has access to .. my account..



    Sad to think tjis is safer, oh plus finger prints can be found anywhere in my house to access my account with a piece of tape, or a simple picture can unlock phones.. Sad when companies try to justify there lack of security on account.. Used to be safe, now i am definitely deleting accounts that dont let me choose my own password and let me decide if i want to change it..

    Password issue

    After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???

    Choosing a Password Manager


    Ditto on Lastpass here. They have an add-on for all major browsers incl Edge. Besides the random password generator, you can choose to auto login or, for extra security (say, on your bank site), prompt for master password before filling in user name and password.
