Windows 10: Windows 10/Chrome/sound

I have Windows 10. Usually I use Chrome to browse. Lately, Chrome will connect as usual and then after a few minutes, my sound will stop dead! The connection remains good, the video continues, but no sound. I have re-booted many times, turned the cpu off for minutes, re-loaded Chrome after deleting the Chrome I was using, but no success. Explorer works fine both video AND AUDIO at the same web sites. Speaker connections are solid.

Anyone hear of this problem before (pun intended)? Thank you.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

• Browse for the sound and click on apply and Ok.
