  1. Frequently losing WiFi Connection

Several times per day, the wireless connection on my Windows 10 laptop will suddenly stop working. If I check my WiFi, it tells me that no wireless networks are found, despite the fact that there should be multiple strong signals. Running the troubleshooter fixes the problem after giving me these errors:

    Frequently losing WiFi Connection 1f1ac464-9616-4ad4-9c53-be2e23340f22?upload=true.png

The "Network cable is not properly plugged in or may be broken" error makes no sense, because I am on WiFi and thus do not have a network cable plugged in at all. The second "Problem with wireless adapter or access point" error is very vague.

After running the troubleshooter, I can immediately reconnect to the network. However, it is very frustrating to have to do this at least once per day, usually multiple times. The error occurs on both my home and office wifi as well as other networks. I have already tried updating the drivers for both my wireless card and my network adapter. How can I permanently stop this error from occurring?

    :)

When will the wifi connectivity problems be solved?

OK, so the Windows 10 engineers bollixed up the wifi connectivity part of the operating system. Everybody knows that by now. It seems they are making some progress in resolving it. Now, instead of seeing "Secured, No Internet" on your list of wifi connections, you see "Connected, Secured" EXCEPT no webpages will load. So you really aren't connected. It does seem to be a step in the right direction. Does anybody know when they plan on a full and complete repair of this screw up of epic proportions?

Frequent and regular lag spikes on Wifi

    Thank you for the clarification.

There are a lot of possible causes for this matter. One possible cause is with your
Networking Hardware. However, we need to make sure that it is the case.
We suggest that you perform these methods of troubleshooting and check
    if there's any changes:

    Method 1: Reset TCP/IP

To do this, follow these steps:

    • Run
      Command Prompt
      as
      Administrator.

    • Run
      this
      command:

      • netsh
        int
        ip
        reset and hit
        Enter.

    Exit
    Command Prompt
    and
    monitor your
    WiFi connection.

Method 2: Disable auto turn-off of
    WiFi device.

    Go to
Network and Sharing Center. At the
    right pane, click
    Change adapter settings.
    Right-click
    on your
    connection name (WiFi name)
    and go to
    Properties.
    Click
    the
    "Configure..."
    button
    and go to
    Power Management
    tab.
    Uncheck/disable
    the
    radio button
    for
"Allow this device to turn off this device to save
    power". And then,
    Restart the PC (Important).

    Method 3: Reconfigure TCP/IP

To do this, follow these steps:

    • Run
      Command Prompt
      as
      Administrator.

    • Run
      these following
      commands:

      • netsh
        int
        tcp set heuristics
        disabled

      • netsh
        int
        tcp
        set global
        autotuninglevel=disabled

      • netsh
        int
        tcp set global
        rss=enabled

If the issue still persists, kindly contact your
    computer's manufacturer
    for further assistance.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards.

Losing internet acccess very frequently on wifi

    Hi Chaitanya,

I appreciate if you could answer few questions to narrow down to the issue.

    • What is the make and model of the computer?

    • Did you see a red cross on the Internet connection near the Action center?

    • Which is the build currently installed on the computer?

    • Did you install any third party security application?
This issue may arise due to driver conflicts and as an initial troubleshooting step and I suggest you to refer to the article provided below and check if that helps.
