    Whenever I attempt to create a new item within file explorer or on the desktop my file...


    I have had this problem for a few weeks now and have tried many different fixes that have been posted on the internet and have not found a single one that worked. I am not sure if the issue is third party or not and am seeking help.

    Windows 10 File explorer crashes while creating a new item

    My Windows 10 file explorer crashes while creating a new item. When I hover over the "new" menu tab in the cortex menu ,it simply restarts explorer. Same happens while trying to create a new item through the "new item" menu in the Home
    tab of File explorer. I can create a new folder through the shortcut Keys Ctrl+Shift+N. I have checked the system files through command prompt's
    sfc /scannow command and nothing seemed to be wrong. No signs of virus either. Are there corrupt regestry key or is it just a bug in the Creator's Update. Please help me fix this issue. I am on the Creator's Update
    Version 10.0.15063 Build 15063 MS Windows 10 Home.

    Windows 10 - File Explorer hangs when I try to create New File

    I recently got a new PC, with Windows 10. When I attempted to create a new file on my hard drive, using Windows Explorer. WE hung every time. Any suggestions? Thank you.
