Windows 10: Auto compression win10 broke my photos and videos HELP

Hello everyone
I got a problem. My windows 10 started compressing files automatically. And after compression files size show insane and it's impossible to open or decompress. I tried some programs as Recuva for fix it but it does not help.

Photo Compression

It's great having a 5 mega-pixel camera on my phone, except for the fact that because the photos are too highly compressed to be any good.

Okay, I know that probably no phone camera will ever as good as a dedicated product but seriously.. the figures suggest a 2.5x compression ratio.



Any way to switch this compression off?

Adding photos to Win10 outlook contact list....

What do you mean by ‘Adding photos to Win10 outlook contact list’?

I suggest you to follow the below steps to add photos to the contact list.

1. Go to people app.

2. Right click on contacts

3. Click edit to add photos to the contacts on People app.

cannot upload camera or camcorder pics & videos

I understand that you’re unable to import photos and videos after upgrading to Windows 10.

This could be due to incorrect Auto play settings. I suggest you to follow the steps as shown below and check if it helps.

• Plug in the Camera.
• Go to Start and type AutoPlay Settings.
• Choose AutoPlay Settings.
• Under your Camera Device, choose the option "Import Photos and Videos."
• Exit Auto Play Settings and check if the issue persists.
