  1. internet keeps on changing servers

yesterday my power went out for a second, and it messed up the modem

I had to reset it, but then that seemed to mess up the router, I tried setting the modem again but that didn't work, so I just used ethernet directly from the modem for the day, the internet did seem a little sluggish but I didn't notice since I was only watching youtube

the day after I plug the router back into the modem, the router was working but the internet still seemed sluggish

when trying to play rainbow six siege siege I was on the wrong server, it took me forever to connect to team fortress 2 servers, my ping was higher ect

when I went onto speedtest.net, I wasn't in my usual server, I do another test and it changes the server

anybody have any ideas on what to do?

    :)

There are cases that web content are blocked due to proxy server settings. We suggest that you remove the check mark on the the proxy server box, follow the steps below:

    • Type Internet Options in the Ask me anything bar.

Is it possible to share internet connection via remote desktop?

RDP is not capable of Internet sharing, so you can't share Internet using RDP with standard applications. There are many way to share Internet from a Windows box to another one. I suggest you to use VPN. You should do following steps:

    1. Run VPN Server on your server with unlimited internet access
    2. Connect to VPN server from your limited computer

LAN Connection settings keep changing back to proxy server

Jayant, this issue has nothing to do with windows server, but in internet connections (I use IE11), can you suggest the community or forward my question to the following forum (which applied to windows 8.1): ie/forum/ie11-iewindows8_1/lan-connection-settings-keep-changing-to-proxy-server
(substituting windows10 in place of windows8_1)?

    Thanks,
