Windows 10: Windows not Activated after the 1809 October 2018 Update

This is the second time I'm facing this issue. Two days ago I tried to update to the latest version hoping to see some new features. 1 minute later I got a message saying my windows is not activated. I tried using the troubleshoot option since I have the digital license. It says it found a digital license and asked to upgrade. I did. But windows just restarts normally and gives a message saying "We couldn't update your PC error code: 0x0


So I had no more choice left and restored my windows and my problems were solved too.


Yesterday I did the update again hoping this time things would go great. Apparently same problem again. I will post some screenshots. Please help!!

Edge browser stopped working after upgrading to Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809)

After upgrading to Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809), Microsoft Edge browser can't load any web site or even resolve a DNS name. IE11, Chrome and Firefox still work OK.

 

Windows 10 October 2018 Creators Update Winver 1809

This is amazing. I purchased a Windoiws 10 Pro Installation DVD and fresh installed it on my Laptop. It installed the Winver 1809 which is the version of Windows 10 with October 2018 Creators Update.
Next day Windows Update downgraded it to version 1803.

Now when I try to install the October 2018 update on the Laptop, it doesn't get installed though I understand that it has been again released by Microsoft. On my Desktop I had updated to Winver 1809 on the
day it was originally released and it is working like a charm.

Isn't this amazing? Can someone please help me to install Winver 1809 on my Laptop? I am not an Insider.

Edge browser stopped working after upgrading to Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809)

Enabling the TCP/IPv6 on the adapter card fixed the issue for me. I did not have it enabled because my IP service provider does not use IPv6 and I had it disabled and Edge worked in that config until I updated to Windows 10 version 1809 in October. Spent several hours trying different suggestions that did not help. This fix took me 20 seconds to implement and get Edge connected to the internet.
