Windows 10: Titanwolf Specialist - Customisation of buttons does not work

Titanwolf Specialist - Customisation of buttons does not work. I have been in contact with the maker of the mouse & they say that it is compatible with Windows 10 Pro. The mouse can be used on other PCs with no problems but on Windows 10 it just won't work properly. I have installed & uninstalled the software from the manufacturer but to no avail. I've tried installing etc via safe mode.


I use the mouse with SolidWorks at work. I map various keyboard keys & macros to the extra mouse buttons & have been doing this for MANY years. Why nothing works in Windows 10 is beyond me.


So, how do I get Win10 Pro to play nicely with the button customisation software? The problem is related to Windows 10 so please don't start any nonsense about contacting the mouse manufacturer as I have already been in touch with them & they are positive it's a windows 10 issue.

Start Button displaying but not working


The start button was working until there was a forced reboot (power failure). Then left click (normal click) over the start button does absolutely nothing. Right click brings up a menu but "programs" and also "settings" are missing and not included on this list. Search or Task View buttons do not work either with "normal" click. Does anyone have any suggestion or fixes?

PSU issue? Power on button not working after power off

I appreciate your suggestion, Micropage7, but I am not sure what you mean.

Another question for ASUS specialists: Does EPU chip (activated in BIOS) work without installing the AI Suite (EPU settings inside)? Currently I have it on in BIOS, no AI Suite installed.
It seems a little like the voltage or current in Suspend state is abnormally low, so it freezes the mobo, the power button becomes unresponsive, PC does not wake up: only solution unplug power... !?

 

Desktop Customisation Thread

I noticed that although TPU has a lot of space devoted to the customisation of PC's, it has very little in the way of customisation when it comes to the actual software, therefore, i have created this thread so that people can share and discuss the ways they customise the software of their PC.

This includes Desktop backgrounds, Themes, Rainmeter set-ups, even customisations of specific programs, basically customising software in general.

I don't have too much to work with at the moment, but by the end i hope to have a thread full of instructions on how to do just about any modifications or customisation to your software, starting with basic's, all the way over to stuff that should only be considered by the most skilled people.

I will have a more in depth walkthrough later, but for now he're one i did on the UK clubhouse, it shows you how to modify the omnimo theme so instead of the full theme you just get a catalog of gadgets and tools on your desktop

--> the omnimo theme will start, but it will configure your PC in a windows phone 7 like fashion, just select the correct screen resolution, weather code etc, and let it set itself up

Important bit now, right click one of the panel, and go through the menu to :\WP7\background, and click 'BG.INI' to disable it

you will then have a load of free panels floating on your desktop, you can now move them remove them, and somewhere on your desktop will be an arrow in a circle, click this and it will give you a load of new panels to add, which will do a large variety of different features
Overall, here is a short list i have composed, more will follow later
