Windows 10: Windows won't boot after reinstalling from a USB drive

My Acer laptop was running really poorly, so I decided to use my other laptop (HP) to install Windows 10 using the media creation tool onto a USB flash drive. It was a completely empty drive, 32 GB, no files. After a few hours, it was done. I used the Advanced Startup to boot from the USB. Everything was fine until the installation was pretty much done. I was on the screen with the green Acer logo with the spinning wheel. It said "Getting Ready". It was on that screen FOREVER, so I decided to power off the computer and restart it. However, when the PC tries to boot, I keep getting an error message that says "The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install Windows, click 'OK' to restart the computer, and then restart the installation." However, when I click Restart, I get that same error message every time (whether I have the USB drive in or not) so my laptop is useless.


Please tell my why this is happening and what I can do to reinstall Windows and get my PC working again.

Installing windows off of a USB stick

Step By Step from vista:
From admin cmd prompt

1. diskpart
1a. list disk
2. select disk 1 (replace 1 with your usb drive)
3. clean
4. create partition primary
5. select partition 1 (replace 1 with your usb drive)
6. active
7. format fs=fat32
8. assign
9. exit

Copy Windows Vista's DVD ROM content to the Flash Drive

xcopy d:\*.* /s/e/f e:\ (d being your vista cd and e being your usb stick)

And that's it, boot off your usb disk

 

My pc won´t boot Windows 10 from USB/DVD

So I wanted to change from my Windows 10 x32 bits to 64x. I downloaded the Mediacreationtool and used it in both a USB and a DVD. Tried used the usb, the disk and both at the same time but they won´t boot.

I have a P7H55-M motherboard, the BIOS is updated and configured to boot first DVD, second usb and third SATA.

So if someone could help me it´d be great.

 

Windows 8x reinstall

Sorry if this has already been suggested. Have you tried using a boot USB drive? You'll need a flash drive bigger than 4GB, the W8.1 ISO and the Windows USB/DVD Download Tool. That would let you bypass the DVD drive.

I've found a handful of USB drives that won't work as boot drives (the tool says that it couldn't make the drive bootable or that the files couldn't be copied) even if the drive worked fine ass a boot drive with Linux Mint or memtest so YMMV.
