This was so annoying that I did a complete reinstall of Windows. Everything was working fine until today afternoon when I installed the Windows cumulative update (KB4505056), it hanged up again!!

When I checked the reliability history, I saw 2 hardware errors. One of them with error code -1000015e and the other with error code - 117 as above

Live kernel event code ab hardware error


Hell o, Scottyboy99, Cmp21 and others!
I have this annoying problem as well. I have been getting this at least once a day especially while on start up and in a bad day 2 or 3 times. Though I am not experiencing anything unusual for daily use I just don't like it listed as Critical events! I am guessing this is something to do with my graphics card - nVIDIA GT 710 however I can not find any informations about LiveKernelEvents Code: ab. Several Kernel Errors within a day?


Lets get back to this troubleshooting step *Arrow Several Kernel Errors within a day? - Page 2 - Windows 10 Forums
The result was a working system in safe mode, though the GPU isn't used in safe mode.
Please perform a clean boot again, watch the temperatures at all times (if you didn't yet) and from there we'll see what needs to be done. Please do not enable anything in taskmanager & msconfig, I want you to boot without any startup items & services enabled.

What was the BSOD stop code? Based on the BSOD stop code I'll edit the suggestion in this post.

In-order to get more clarity on this issue and to assist you with appropriate troubleshooting steps, reply with answers to the below questions:

1. Are you aware of any changes made on your PC, prior to this issue?
   
2. Is this issue specific while playing a particular game?
   
3. Which edition of Windows are you currently using?
   

A Kernel Power Event 41 can occur in the following scenarios.

Scenario 1: The computer restarts, and there is a Stop error BugcheckCode in the event data.

Scenario 2: The computer is shut down by pressing and holding the power button.

Scenario 3: The system randomly restarts and no Stop error BugcheckCode is listed, or the computer is completely unresponsive (hard hang).

I suggest you refer the article on Kernel
Power Event ID 41 and follow the steps for the scenario that is causing this error on your PC.

Additionally, you can refer the article on Windows
Kernel event ID 41 error "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first" in Windows
and check if that helps.
