Windows 10: Change date etc. info on right end of Taskbar

I would like to show the date info there in the format Wed 12 May 2019 (as well as displaying the time). That is, all four data items to be displayed.The nearest I can get is 14:13 Wed/05/2019 which in plain English states "Any one of the four Wednesdays in the 5th month of 2019". How useful is that?. The month name is missing. It seems that some variations can be chosen but if the one I want can be, I can't find out how.

So how can I get the time/date display to show as I want it?

taskbar tranparency

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. I will surely assist you with this.

I would suggest you to change the desktop themes and check if you are able to see the transparent taskbar.

If that doesn't help I would suggest you to end the explorer.exe and restart it and see if you are able to see the transparent taskbar.

Please follow the steps below to restart explorer.exe:

stop and start Explorer.exe

    Right click on the taskbar and select task manager.
    
  • 
    In the process Right click on windows explorer and end the task
    
  • 
    Restart the task by clicking on the file and select new task
    
  • 
    Type Explorer.exe and press enter.
    

And see if it helps.

Day and date gone from taskbar

Hello,

To assist you better, you might have opted to have the small buttons on the taskbar from its properties. If you uncheck the option to have small buttons on the taskbar, then that would increase the taskbar size and will display the date with the time on the
notification area on the taskbar.

You may follow these steps:

• Right click on the Taskbar and select Properties.
• On the Taskbar tab, uncheck the option “Use small Taskbar
  buttons”.
• Click on Apply and then OK.
• Now check if that display the date with the time on the notification area.

Suggest you try simply dragging the taskbar with e.g. that command as a first step.
