  1. Windows 10 won't update because I don't have a System Reserved Partition

I've been trying to update my Widows 10 for the past month and keep getting an error that says "Windows 10 couldn't be installed. We couldn't update the system reserved partition." In doing some research I have found that normally this is because the System Reserved Partition isn't large enough and needs to be expanded using a partition tool.

My problem is that when I go to Disk Management to look at my drive partition, this is what I find:

    Windows 10 won't update because I don't have a System Reserved Partition ccc85700-e008-43bc-84a2-f1f487bd2b90?upload=true.jpg

I'm stuck and have no idea how I go about fixing this problem. I suppose I need to find out if I actually do have a System Reserved Partition and if I don't, how do I go about creating one?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    :)

  3. We couldn't update the system reserved partition - Windows 10 1803 Updates won't install

The usual suggestion is to clean it out.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3086249/we-couldn-t-update-system-reserved-partition-error-installing-windows

Are you implying DISM is showing a message about bootmgr? What is the message exactly? You may need to use a different DISM syntax and point to a /source:

Otherwise it may be bogus. For a possibly related incident see

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-update-winpc/windows-10-update-kb3213986-fails-repeatedly-with/46d9b1af-71a6-4d39-acaf-c3882047ac12

What are the details for that?
