Windows 10: Printer error 0x8007007e

For about two years my wireless printer Epson ET-2550 has been working without a hitch. A Microsoft update and I am no longer able to print. Everything comes up with this error 0x8007007e. I work at a school with special needs children. I print a lot of work for my students. This is driving me nuts. Why would you mess with something that doesn't have a problem? I don't get it. I have tried copying and pasting the 2018 .dll in as it was suggested to someone, no change. Before I toss my computer and printer could you please give a simple solution that I can fix without having to pay someone.

I would suggest you to run the troubleshooter from Microsoft to know what exactly is causing the error. To run the troubleshooter, click on
Fix printer problems.

I have worked with cannon [printer supplier] and their unit is fine. What is causing this 0x8007007e configuration error message all of a sudden?
