Windows 10: an internal system error occurred dxerror.log and directx.log

So i've got a new PC and started downloading games that i've had on my old rig 1 by 1. I have both Civilization 5 and 6.
Civilization 6 works fine and uses DirectX12, Civilization 5 doesn't work.

I have pretty much tried every single solution that I could find online, trying to install DirectX simply prompts the above error message. I've reinstalled my graphics driver, tried installing DirectX after uninstalling my antivirus. I edited the version in the registry. I've scanned my system for corrupt files. Nothing seems to work.

Are there any system/internal logs(where error/info msgs from applications are logged) in Pocket PC devices?

Hi All,

Is there any internal or system log file available in Pocket PC devices where general info and error messages are logged for the various applications installed on the device.

For example, say some error occurred in Pocket IE, then can I view this error details in any system/internal available log. If no such logs are available, is it possible to setup some kind of internal system log that logs all system generated error messages?

DirectX Setup: An internal error occurred.

New computer, trying to install + play some games, when they always refuse to boot due to directX not being set up.

one of the errors states "The code execution cannot proceed because d3dx9_43.dll was not found". However, attempting to install directX gives the error " An internal error occurred."

Information:

dxdiag gives my version as 12.0

All windows updates installed

All graphic drivers for both my Radeon Vega GL and my Intel HD Graphics are updated

Things I have tried:

Reinstalling the game

Verifying game integrity

Downloading "dxwebsetup" - gives me An internal error occurred.

Downloading the full directX file "directx_Jun2010_redist" - gives me An internal error occurred.

Running the "DXSETUP.exe" bundled in the game download - same error

Restarting computer

Restaring in clean boot and trying to run directX

Running a "sfc /scannow" which gives me no error

Can anyone help me out here?

 

internal error occured while installing directX

I tried to install a game called warframe. The data was downloaded properly and needed directX to be installed which it did automatically. The setup unfortunately failed as directX couldn't be installed and the game is now unplayable as long as i don't install
directX. I tried installing DirectX through web installers and through offline installer but both gave the errors as follows:

An internal system error occurred.

Please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log in your windows folder to determine problem.

I've tried different versions of directx but all give the same error.

What can i do now?
