    windows increases my contrast every single time i turn on my computer since may update


    the title basically says it all.

    when i turn on my computer, the contrast is raised slightly- not so much that it would bother some people, but as a graphic designer i can tell immediately. i go to fix it in Display Color Calibration every time.

    what's really interesting is that when i hit next on the initial display color calibration screen, the contrast reverts back to normal- i dont even have to go through the notions, like it knows exactly what to do.


    this is really annoying to me and i'd prefer if there was a surefire way to get around this. again, it only started happening after the may update.

    Increase print contrast

    I have a white background and black print. The contrast seems weak. How can I increase the contrast? Or should I change the background? I'm using Windows 10 and Lenova Z580 laptop.Thanks for any suggestions. Kim

    how to turn off high contrast

    Hi,

    Follow these steps on how to turn high contrast mode on or off in Windows:

    • Type "high contrast settings" in the search box, and then select High contrast settings from the list of results.
    • Under Choose a theme, select a high contrast theme from the drop-down menu, and then select Apply.
    • To turn off high contrast mode, select None from the drop-down menu, and then select Apply.
    • To turn high contrast mode on or off from the sign-in screen, select the Ease of Access button in the lower-right corner and choose High Contrast.
    • To turn high contrast on or off from the keyboard, press left Alt + left Shift + Print
      Screen.
