Windows 10: Windows 10 - Taskbar Buttons

Good afternoon all,

I have a laptop that has Windows 10 OS, I also have an additional screen that I work on.

The issue I have is that then I have multiple buttons open on the task bar I have it set that do not combine the buttons so I can see each of open application for example if I have two word documents open then on the laptop it shows them side by side but on the additional screen the taskbar shows them combined.

Is it possible to have the settings the same on each screen?

Problem with a combine taskbar icons.

Hello,

In Windows 10, you can personalize the settings of your taskbar. If there are multiple applications opened, same applications will be combined under one taskbar button. If you want to change this setting, we suggest that you follow the steps listed below:

• Press the Start button.
• Click on the Settings app.
• Select Personalization.
• At the left side of your window, click on Taskbar.
• Under Combine taskbar buttons, choose Never.

having a problem with Windows 10 taskbar. help needed,

It's still happening after i have done the above mentioned steps. I was running FireFox, I had 3 tabs open. 2 were Newegg.com, 1 was TPU. Closing them did NOT resolve the issue. Im starting to think that this is being caused by a windows process. notifications are entirely off too. FFS, this is really annoying.

I tried This fix, and im Hoping it will work.

I Also installed "start10" and customised the start Menu, and Added a proper start button. Still no frozen taskbar, and its been Far longer than it normally takes until it used to happen.

• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
