Windows 10: Can't sign in to microsoft account on microsoft store and xbox live

For some reason when i try to log into my microsoft account on microsoft store or on xbox app, it just has an error and says that "Something went wrong, please try again later." and 0x80090010. It's not when I put in password or anything it doesn't even ask me that. I just click on my account and then it loads to this. Already tried resetting it and reinstalling it with powershell. I have also checked for updates and ran windows app troubleshooter which said it fixed hanging or crashing apps, but didn't really do anything. I also ran the windows update troubleshooter which didnt find any problem.

Yes. When you sign in to the Store with a Microsoft account like in step 5 in Option Two of the tutorial below instead of switching to a Microsoft account you will and stay a local account.

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store
