  1. Tried everything to get network discovery on.

    Hello everyone,

So today I thought it was a great idea to uninstall Norton security from my laptop. However, i didnt know the consequences of doing so. After restarting my laptop bevaude i uninstalled norton, all the network and internet settings has been changed. I tried everything t connect to the Wi-Fi. The problem is with the laptop not the modem or the network as I can use the Wi-Fi perfectly fine on my phone. I tried this as well: https://social.technet.microsoft.co...ps-turning-itself-back-off-?forum=winserverPN

and resetting the pc multiple times.

    Any help is appreciated.

    :)

  2. Cannot keep Network Discovery Enabled.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the response.

I would suggest that you change the settings in the Firewall to allow Network discovery so that the Firewall stays On while allowing the Network discovery to be enabled.

    Follow the steps.

    a . Open Control panel.

    b. Small icons from the drop down.

    c. Click on Windows Firewall.

    d. Click on Allow programs or feature through Firewall.

    e. Scroll the list and check Network Discovery.

If you need additional assistance then let us know.
