    Audio Switching not stable

I'm running Windows 10 Home edition 1809 on an Lenovo Ideapad 310-15IKB.

I frequently run dual monitors via HDMI, either at work running slideshow presentations, or at home to increase my workspace, and because my TV projects sound better than the laptop.

I've noticed that recently, when I plug in additional sound devices such as my USB headphone/microphone set for a conference call or my bluetooth headphones for when I don't want to broadcast sound, the system sometimes can't make a stable switch between audio outputs. In the last month or so, it would bounce back and forth for about a minute before finally stopping, and then I could select the audio output I wanted. However, since the update last week, it won't stop bouncing. I have to unplug the HDMI cable (whether it's an audio-capable device or not) and sometimes I still can't get a stable connection to the secondary audio device. When I plug in my bluetooth headphones, it even tries to label it as two different devices at the same time: Bluetooth handsfree and Bluetooth headphones.

The USB headset is a plantronics Blackwire C320, and the Bluetooth is an Otium handsfree headset.

Is there something I can do to make this swap stable again?

    :)

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
