Windows 10: Windows 10 black screen after bois

My PC screen goes black after bios, can I recover my files? (Kids photos are on there and I don't have a back up). I've got an external hard drive to copy them to and windows 10 on USB to hopefully repair windows but I need the files first. I've not made any changes or seen any updates so not sure what's gone wrong

Black Screen after Log on


Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next. Just want my Windows 10 back, not sure what caused this problem. Any Suggestion on what my next step should be?*Sad
