    Hi there,

    I used to trim videos using the 'Photos' app without any problem. Possibly due to a Windows update I have noticed now that when I view edited file in file explorer, it has the wrong date (and time) and consequently will no longer appear at the top if you sort by date. Any help with this would be great.


    Running Windows 10 Version 1809 (17763.557)

    NB: Windows Time and time zone settings are correct and set automatically. File explorer view options correct. Saving a text file using notepad for example works fine (correct date in same folder). Actually problem with date really only seems to happen when saved automatically after editing a video in Photos. Tried repairing / resetting Photos app, no avail).

    Edit Video in Photos- Trim

    I had a small issue with the Edit in Photos feature on a video file in Windows 10.

    I regularly capture video files while gaming and noticed the trim feature under the "Edit In Photo" option while watching a video file(pen icon).

    Upon using this feature I trim the video to my desired length and save a copy. But the new video file has a significantly whiter picture when i watch it. Is this something that is temporary or that i fix in anyway?

    I'd appreciate any help on fixing this issue, Thank You.

    can't trim a video using Photos app

    I'm trying to do a quick trim on a .mov file in the Microsoft Windows Photos app. When I have the file open and click the trim icon, I get a blue dot I can use to advance to the point of the video I would like it to end, but when I go to save it, that option
    is grayed out. I see no other options. This leads me to believe there is nothing edited to save. If this is the case, how do I trim the video and then save it?
