Windows 10: Minecraft windows 10 cannot install or launch game

I bought Minecraft before 2018 so I got a free code to redeem Minecraft for Windows 10 and it worked. But now when I go to the Minecraft app it doesn't let me install it or launch it. It just says I have to buy it or start a free trial. I am really confused about this. Also, I already have Minecraft installed because I bought the minecraft.net version so can I have 2 accounts then?

• Are you getting any error message when the Minecraft game crashes?

You may try repairing the game from the Control Panel and check if it helps to resolve the issue. Refer the link below for steps to repair a program on Windows 10.

Further make sure all pending updates are installed on the computer and also check the Event Viewer logs at the time when the game crashes.

Issues with downloading the Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition may occur if you are logged in to a different account. To resolve your concern, we suggest that you check your purchase history on the

Microsoft Billing page if the Minecraft is on the list. You can also check it on the Windows Store if it is listed under
Games in My Library. If the game is on the list, you have to use your Microsoft account to sign in on the PC instead of the local account. To add your Microsoft Account, you may follow the steps below:

• Press Start and click on the Settings icon.
• Go to Accounts and click Email & App accounts.
• Click on Add an account and add the Microsoft Account that you used to purchase the game.
• Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

After restarting your PC, reset the Windows Store to clear the Store cache.

• Press Windows key + X on your keyboard.   
• Click on Command prompt (Admin).   
• Type wsreset.exe, and then hit Enter.   

Launch the Windows Store and open the game library. If you see Minecraft on the list, look for the download icon

at
the right side of the page and click it to download the game.

3. Are you referring to Minecraft app from Windows Store?
   
4. Are you able to install other apps from the Microsoft Store?
   
5. Are you able to uninstall the app?
