    Error code 0xc00d36c4 after update to ver 1903


    After updating my Windows 10 Pro to ver 1903, I discovered 8 .mp4 files on my C drive that would not play in Movies&TV or Windows Media Player, returning "This file isn't playable. That might be because the file type is unsupported, the file extension is incorrect, or the file is corrupt" and code 0xc00d36c4. I then tried to open them in the backup folder on D drive .. which should not have been affected by the update, and got the same error. I then connected my external drive, and tried to open those same files ... which was not connected during the update ... and got the same error! All the files will play in Power DVD Player, and Corel Video Studio just fine. The files played fine in any program before the update. Windows Media Player and Movies&TV play all the other .mp4s on all my drives. I don't believe the files are corrupted ... only 8 out of over 400 .mp4s .. and specially the ones on the external drive. I tried "resetting" Movies&TV .. no change. Any ideas?

    Hello Everyone, I have windows 10 installed in my PC everything is fine with it but today I am getting Error Code 0xc00d36c4 while playing Videos and Music. Actually I am very fond of listening music so please look into this issue and suggest me correct ways to fix this.

    Windows 10 home ver 1903 error code

    I am trying to upgrade windows 10 to the latest version 1903 using the windows 10 upgrade assistant. I am currently running ver 1809 which took out my windows store app, but otherwise runs fine. The windows 10 upgrade assistant errors out with
    code 0xc1900107. I am using a desktop pc, HPE 500F, with an AMD Phenom 1045T processor. Any suggestions on how to get past this error?
