    I've looked through several forums on both this site and other tech related sites and none of the solutions to this problem have yielded any results. I've tried checking the disk drive, auto repairing, troubleshooting, etc. Even when attempting to completely reset my PC to factory settings I am unable to do so. Would it be easier to just purchase a completely new HDD and install a new version of Windows onto it?

    I tried to reset my old computer but i have tried many thing i have tried the boot.exe and the Chkdsk thing and nothing works it still keeps telling me "D:\recovery\WindowsRE\Winre.wim\System32\Logfiles\Srt\Srt.txt" What should i do now?
