Windows 10: How to I turn off Pause Updates? It is set for seven days. I do not want it to pause.

My Windows Update setting indicate that it pauses for seven days. I do not want this. I want it to update during my down time as soon as possible after the update is released.


I do not want to have to click on a button. I want this to be automatic.





It looks like the button is for me to pause the updates but it seems that they are paused.3

I had turned Pause Updates ON because of concern about the name of an update. After being satisfied that the update was OK, I turned Pause Updates OFF and the update disappeared and has not been offered in the 10 hours since that time. The update is not
listed as already installed.

HELP STATES TO GO TO SETTINGS CHOSE UPDATE AND SECURITY THEN WINDOWS UPDATE UNDER UPDATE SETTINGS CHOSE ADVANCED OPTIONS THEN TURN ON "PAUSE UPDATES

AFTER DOING THE ABOVE THERE IS NO OPTION TO PAUSE UPDATE ??????????????????????????????????????????????????

The option to pause updates is available only with Pro, Education and Enterprise edition of Windows 10.....
