    Win 10 not upgrading to Pro after reinstall


    Hi all,


    I had to reinstall my OS after a hard disk crash, I re-installed by downloading again the original setup from Dell. That's all working.

    The problem is I had upgraded my OS from Home to Pro before the crash, but my PC has not upgraded itself to the Pro version after the re-install.

    In my Devices section of my account I can see two devices "Joe-Bloggs-PC" (my old install) and my new one "Joe Bloggs". (I only have one PC)


    I don't have an activation key as I let windows do the upgrade and never took note, not can I find an email from MS about it.

    However, my order is showing up under my Purchases, so I do have an Order Date and Order ID.

    Win 10mmpro PAID FOR upgrade eed to reinstallfree upgraded to win 10, then later paid for the upgtrade to win 10 pro. Now I need to reinstall win 10 pro

    I free upgraded to win 10, later PAID for upgrade to win 10 pro. Now I need to reinstall-same computer....Suggestions from anyone about how to do this efficiently? Thanks!

    How do I upgrade from Win 10 Home to Win 10 Pro with a digital Licence. The in structions say

    • If you have a digital license for Windows 10 Pro, and Windows 10 Home is currently activated on your device, select
      Go to Microsoft Store and you'll be prompted to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro for free.

    Fine, but how do I get a digital Licence for Win 10 PRo??

    Going to Microsoft Store via the upgrade with digital licence link, provides no opton for upgrading.

    Any solution??

    Reinstall Win 10 Pro

    Hi,

    I had Windows 10 pro installed in my laptop, and had to send it for a repair. Once I got it back, retailer has installed Win 10 Home version.

    I have linked my Win pro 10 (Ver 1803) to my windows account, prior to sending for repair. I can see that the device is still listed under my name.

    Is it possible to reinstall Win 10 pro back in the same laptop? If so, where can I find the activation key? Windows was pre-installed when I purchase it.
