Windows 10: My Desk top dissappeared on Windows 10

Discus and support My Desk top dissappeared on Windows 10 in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; A few weeks ago my Desktop disappeared.     My Desk top dissappeared on Windows 10


    A few weeks ago my Desktop disappeared. I was just listening to music on Widows Media player. I can still use my computer, it just shows the start menu all the time, except when I open up an app. I noticed that the task bar now had a back button when this happened.


    My desktop is still there, I can access it through my Desktop Folder, most of my icons are still there. Sometimes it flashes my desktop for about a quarter of a second, then goes to a sort of start menu, that shows which apps I can choose.


    I updated Windows 10 thinking that would fix it, but it did not. Don't really want to reset Windows again, had to do it last year, but if that is the choice. Is there another way?

    missing recycle bin windows 10 wont add to desk top WHERE IS IT?????

    i can not find my recycle bin in windows 10 despite following the steps to display it on the desk top......

    Windows Mobile Device Center on Desk Top

    Since you already tried the compatibility settings and other troubleshooting steps, we suggest that you uninstall the newest update to isolate the issue. Kindly follow the steps below:

    • On the Search bar, type in Programs and Features and select the top most result.
    • On the left menu, select View installed updates.
    • Right click on the newest update and click Uninstall.

    Monitor the Windows Mobile Device Center and see if there are any changes. If possible, try to reinstall the update and see if the Windows Mobile Device Center will still work.

    Kindly get back to us with the results.
