    Gift Card purchased redeemed on the wrong device


    Someone I know purchased Minecraft Windows 10 for me as a gift on PC (Code sent via Xbox) But when he was redeeming it, it was accidentally redeemed on the Xbox Companion App when it should have been redeemed on the Windows 10 play store. Is there anyway to reverse this so it can be re-redeemed on the correct device?

    About Redeeming Gift Card

    So I redeemed my gift card online, and once I enter Windows Store on my Windows 10 Device, it tells me to either redeem a code, use a mobile number, use a PayPal card or a credit card! How could this be happening? I literally spent money on my gift card
    then it tells me to redeem another gift card!

    Making Purchases After Redeeming Gift Card

    I recently redeemed a $25 Windows gift card for Windows 10 Store on my Surface Pro 3. At first when using the 25 digit code I ran in to some problems like "an error occurred" or "please try again later." Now it says the gift card code has been redeemed
    but whenever I attempt to buy something like music it says my purchase wasn't completed. What should I do? Is it anything involving the code?
