Windows 10: Windows 10 Assign bluetooth on/off toggle to macro key

Hi all,

I have a laptop which includes a few macro keys on the keyboard. I'd like to know how I can assign the bluetooth on/off toggle command to one of these macro keys. For example, on one macro key I've assigned the shortcut "leftwindows+A" to open the support assist window, and from there I can toggle the on/off for bluetooth. This is ok, but I'd like to assign the on/off directly to the key rather than needing to navigate to the assist window.

Anyone have an idea on how to do this?

a macro or desktop shortcut needed for toggling one service (in Win10)


Another forum suggested the code for a macro to toggle MySQL service in Win7. I modeled MY macro on it
(for Malwarebytes in Win10), but it failed to do the job. That forum has not responded to my report of the failure, so I am now looking elsewhere for help. I can reproduce the code if required - or 'you' can just suggest code for a successful macro.

 

Microsoft Sidewinder x4 Keyboard "Macro Key Not Assigned" / Stuck on Auto

So ive been using my Microsoft Sidewinder x4 Keyboard for... well, years now.

however, everytime i assign a macro to a key and go to use it, it keeps saying "Macro Key Not Assigned"

Im 100% sure that there IS a macro assigned to it, even if its a simple text macro to type out some text "testABC123" for example.

Ive noticed that the Auto Light is constantly on now unless i have the Mouse and Keyboard center open, then it turns off until i switch windows.

Please help fix this as i use this for both gaming and work purposes and is one of the main reasons why i love this keyboard so much. ive bought 3 of them so far and this is the first time ive had problems with either of them!

Im on Windows 10 64 bit.

To Turn On or Off Toggle Keys Tone

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community, we appreciate your interest in Windows 10.

As you have an issue with sound on toggle keys, I suggest you to change the toggle keys settings
and check.

Steps:

• Press Windows key from keyboard and type
  Toggle.
• Select Hear a tone while pressing Caps lock, Num lock and Scroll lock.
• Under Toggle keys, change the settings and check.

If the issue still persists, Run troubleshooter from
Fix sound problems and check.
