  1. After newest windows update, File Explorer has issues.

After the latest windows 10 update, all of a sudden my file explorer has issues copying/cutting and pasting into the same folder or another folder. The dialog box showing file transfer status pops up but never does anything. Even if the file/folder size is even less than 1mb. Most of the time if i hit cancel in the transfer status box the file will move anyway. But sometimes it doesn't work at all. In order to get it to work i have to open my task manager and end the explorer.exe task and start it back up. But after a couple of times it will just act up again. This is very frustrating and wondering if anyone else is having this issue. and if so if you have found a fix. I've searched for awhile and cant find anything. any help would be very appreciated.

    :)

After newest windows update, File Explorer has issues.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
