  1. Regarding wireless keyboards and mice

For 25 years I've turned on monitor, speakers, and computer every day. Now I'm considering an all-in-one desktop. Just one AC plug, just one button! But I find that most of them now use "wireless" keyboards and mice.

My questions: Do these have to be turned on and off every day? How long to the batteries last? Are they as accurate as the wired versions? What is the advantage of using them?

    :)

  2. Wireless mouse not syncing

Yes, two separate keyboards & mice at two separate locations (Microsoft, convenience). Mice stopped working at both locations this week. The small portable wireless keyboard & mouse (Logitech) works fine. The keyboards in both locations work fine but the
mice do not. If I go into devices it will list the laptop & wireless keyboard, but only the touchpad and not the wireless mouse.

You sent links for software but I am reluctant to download at this time. Please suggest alternate actions. Also, I am reasonably competent regarding computers but not an expert. Please keep this in mind when suggesting paths.

    Thanks.

    Wireless Versus Wired Mice/Keyboard

Absolutely. Logitech has more than a few wireless gaming mice. Now keyboards, I'm not too sure of, but I'm sure if you can find a quality one...it will treat you well.

edit: There are a couple of other options out there if your interesting in wireless gaming mice, here are a few suggestions (note: they are not cheap):

Wireless Mouse connects as a keyboard

    Hi there.

I've tried doing all of these steps, and it still doesn't work. I can see the device in 'Connected devices' in 'Settings'. It is listed as 'Microsoft Nano Tranceiver' but has a keyboard icon next to it. the mouse is a Microsoft Mouse 1850. This also occurs
with other wireless mice I have tried, and they connect but all have the keyboard icon next to them.

    Thanks,
